At La Clinique Privée, our experienced team specializes in assisting out-of-town and international patients. With over two decades of expertise, we've successfully treated individuals from across the globe. To aid in your planning, we've created this guide tailored to your needs.
The process
Initial Consultation
- For out-of-town patients, consultations can be conducted either face-to-face or via phone/virtual platforms.
- Face-to-face consultations are prioritized, accommodating your schedule. During this meeting, you’ll discuss your desired procedure with the doctor and receive pre and post-op instructions.
- Alternatively, phone/virtual consultations are available. Submit photos of your areas of concern to facilitate the discussion with the doctor.
Quote and Information Package
- Upon consultation, you’ll receive a customized information package, including a price quote and pre-op requirements.
- If opting for a phone/virtual consultation, this package will be emailed or faxed to you.
Scheduling Surgery
- After receiving your quote and information, you can proceed to schedule your surgery date.
- A 20% initial deposit is required to secure your surgery date, payable over the phone with a credit card.
- Final payment arrangements should be made before your arrival.
Pre-Surgery Requirements
- Two weeks before your surgery, ensure that blood work and medical clearance are submitted.
- Our Surgeons and the nurse will review the results to ensure your readiness for surgery.
Accommodations and Caregiver Arrangements
- Consider your lodging arrangements; nearby hotels are listed here.
- If you require post-operative care, inform us to arrange for a caretaker.
- Closest airports are within a 20-minute range for convenience.
Post-Surgery Recovery
- All patients must have a caretaker for at least the first 24 hours post-surgery.
- Caretakers can assist with various tasks including transportation, meal preparation, wound care, and emotional support.
Planning for Recovery
- A well-planned recovery can enhance safety, comfort, and healing speed.
- Discuss post-surgery recovery conditions, potential complications, and expected recovery periods with your doctor.
- Expect some swelling, discomfort, and bruising, which will vary depending on your procedure and individual circumstances.
