AVELI FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions about AVELI

If you are a woman looking for long-term reduction in cellulite dimples from a single, minimally invasive in-office procedure, Avéli could be for you! Schedule a consultation with us to determine if you are a candidate.

Avéli™ is a procedure that treats the septa bands causing cellulite dimples. It is not a procedure that addresses other concerns often seen alongside cellulite, such as laxity or fat pockets.

Avéli™ is designed to be a single, in-office procedure. During a single procedure your provider can fully treat the targeted cellulite dimples on both your buttocks and thighs with durable, long-term results.

The average Facelift recovery duration takes about four to six weeks, but that doesn’t mean you have to take all that time off. In fact, most patients only need to take about one to two weeks off before they’re able to return to work.

A typical AvéliTM procedure will take around an hour, including local anesthesia and the procedure itself. Exact timing will vary depending on the personalized procedure plan from your provider.

Little to none. In the clinical study, most patients returned to normal activities within 24-48 hours.

In the clinical study, the most common side effects reported were mild pain within the first 24 hours and bruising and tenderness to the touch which typically resolved within 30 days. Small areas of firmness, usually not visible or painful, typically resolved in a couple of months.2

The results of your Avéli™ procedure should be visible once swelling and bruising subsides. By one month post-procedure you should start to see the effects of the procedure.2

It is recommended to avoid any strenuous activities or workouts in the first few days/weeks after the procedure to allow the area to heal.2 Be sure to ask your AvéliTM provider for their complete post-procedure care recommendations.

Avéli™ is FDA-cleared for long-term reduction in the appearance of cellulite in the buttocks and thigh areas of adult females. Patients in the clinical study demonstrated a reduction in the appearance of their cellulite when assessed one year after the procedure.

AvéliTM is currently available in select aesthetic dermatology and plastic surgery practices across the U.S. that have been trained as AvéliTM providers. Ask your medical aesthetics provider if they offer AvéliTM
